10 Person Pontoon Policies

No fishing, wakeboarding, water skiing, or smoking. Driver Must be 21. All passengers under 13 must wear a life jacket at all times. Life jackets are provided for all passengers.

Rental boats are prohibited on the Spokane, St Joe, and Coeur d'Alene River, Kidd Island, and Cougar Bays. 

• A security deposit of $250 per vessel will be required on the day of the rental and must be placed on a major credit card in the Renter's name.
• Excessive quantities of alcohol, open flames, grills, or cooking equipment of any type are prohibited on all rental boats.
• Each rental boat leaves the dock with a full tank of fuel. Once the boat is returned and refueled, the renter is responsible for the amount of fuel consumed during the rental time.

Cancellations Policy:

Any changes or cancellations with 72 hours' notice before departure will not incur any fees. Any changes or cancellations less than 72 hours before departure notice are subject to a $100 fee. Any changes or cancellations less than 48hrs before departure are subject to a $200 fee. If a boat reservation is changed or canceled in less than 24hrs or on the day of the scheduled departure, the renter is responsible for 100% of the boat rental fee. We will hold a reservation for 30 minutes unless notified otherwise, after which it will be considered a "No Show," and the entire reservation fee will be forfeited.

Reservations on any day from July 1st, 2024, to July 6th, 2025, have a 14-day cancellation policy. Any cancellations in less than 14 days are responsible for the full reservation fees; no changes can be made during this time. 

All changes or cancellations must be confirmed with an agent of Resort Boat Rentals via email or live on the phone. Voicemails only count as confirmed reservation cancellations if an agent has called and confirmed.

Weather or Technical Related Changes/Cancellations:

Resort Boat Rentals reserves the right to cancel any reservations due to inclement weather conditions. If the following conditions exist on the lake; heavy rain lasting more than 45 minutes; lightning; tornado warnings; high wind advisories, or any condition that Resort Boat Rentals considers unsafe boating conditions, then the reservation fees will be credited. Weather credits or rain checks can only be given in person on the day of the rental and are based on actual weather conditions on the lake at the time of the rental, not future weather forecasts.

In the event that Resort Boat Rentals decides to cancel any reservations due to weather, the customer will not be charged for the rental. The renter is responsible for the fees for choosing to cancel outside of these conditions. 

Resort Boat Rentals reserves the right to change or cancel any reservations due to technical malfunction or breakdown of the vessels without notice. In the event that reservations are canceled due to mechanical failures, the customer will not be charged for the rental.
